  I set up a fitting via facebook messaging with this shop. I was very clear about wanting to be fit for driver, 3 and 5 wood, and some hybrids. I had trouble setting up with the correct person, but I eventually agreed to keep my appointment. I was told it would be about an hour to get fit for those clubs, and the $50 charge could be used as credit towards any clubs purchased.
  
  The "fitting" consisted of me hitting a bucket and a quarter of balls while the fitter sat watching his iPad and the Trackman information. He gave me distances for each ball hit, and when asked, he would give me swing speed and spin rate. He didn't measure my arms, height, ask my age, or anything about me except how far I figured I hit the driver. No other shafts or grips were made available to me, and when I checked out, I was given information for the Ping 5 wood and hybrid, and for the Callaway Rogue Driver, but not the ping driver or the Taylormade driver. The only information provided was for what I had hit. Not including my warm-up with my own driver and 3 wood and hybrid (which no one watched me hit), the "fitting" lasted about 30 minutes.
  
  I arrived home without enough information to make a decision about anything. I will go to a different place with a strong reputation where I can be measured, try shaft flexes, lengths, and specs based on flex high/middle/low on the shaft, different heads, grips, and moving weights and changing lies and lofts with the adjustable clubs, and where I can try all clubs available. Frankly, the $50 was a complete loss.
  
  I did call them and explain my situation. They didn't offer a refund, even though the guy I talked to agreed that I had not really been "fit." He simply offered to fit me himself. His explanation was that the other fitter must have thought I only wanted to demo clubs, but I had been clear in my written message to them (via facebook - which I shared with him) and I was clear when I went in and talked to the fitter about what I wanted to do and why. I'm not sure how he could think that - especially since I have in writing that I could demo clubs for free, but they charged me after the "fitting." The explanation seemed like a deflection. While the guy who "fit" me seemed knowledgeable about golf, my swing, and the clubs, and he could obviously hit the ball well himself (he used up a bunch of the balls I did not hit when I sat down tired by hitting some balls and assuring another guy who saw him that he could, indeed hit it 300-310), I feel that this operation is not properly set up with the right equipment or personnel to fit the vast majority of people who come in.
